Admissions Process

St. Matthew Catholic School 2021-2022 Admissions Process 

  1. Complete and Submit the Application for Enrollment
    SCHOOL REGISTRATION FORM CAN BE FOUND HERE.
    New Student enrollment, including PreK 4, Kindergarten and Grades 1-8, begins February 1, 2021.
  2. Approval of Acceptance
    THE PRINCIPAL AND PASTOR WILL REVIEW APPLICATIONS.

    • Priority of acceptance will be given in the following order:
      1. Siblings of current St. Matthew students
      2. Parishioners of St. Matthew Catholic Church
      3. Catholic students registered in a different parish
      4. Non-Catholic students
    • Acceptance at St. Matthew School will be based on available space in each classroom and may be influenced by updated Covid guidance.
    • Acceptance letters will be sent to families beginning mid-March.
    • Students who cannot immediately be accepted will be placed on a waitlist or given conditional acceptance based on date of application.
      • Waitlist - normal maximum capacity at grade level is reached; will be accepted if a spot becomes available
      • Conditional Acceptance - accepted unless extended social distancing guidelines are enforced.
  3. Online Registrations
    WITH ACCEPTANCE, FAMILIES WILL RECEIVE AN EMAIL TO COMPLETE ONLINE REGISTRATION FOR BOTH OUR STUDENT INFORMATION SYSTEM AND TUITION MANAGEMENT PROGRAM.

    •  Families will register online in Teacher Ease (Student Information System) and SMART Tuition (Tuition Management program).
    • The curriculum fee will be paid at the time of online registration in Smart Tuition.
    • A copy of certified birth certificate and Baptismal Certificate (for Catholics not Baptized at St. Matthew) should be sent to the school office.
  4. Await More Information
    COMMUNICATION WILL BE SENT TO FAMILIES WITH INFORMATION ON THE COMING YEAR 

    • The principal and other school administration will send information to families via email through Teacher Ease.
    • The Parent Club Welcome Committee and Parent Ambassadors will contact new families to answer any questions, provide resources and welcome them to our St. Matthew family.
