Triduum Adoration Chapel Schedule

The Adoration Chapel will close at 12:00 noon on Holy Thursday.  Adoration of the reserved Blessed Sacrament will take place at an altar of repose in the Adoration Chapel from 8:00 pm-11:30 pm on Holy Thursday.  There is NO adoration on Good Friday or Holy Saturday.  The Adoration Chapel will re-open following the Easter Vigil Mass at approximately 9:30 pm on Holy Saturday. 

Men’s Holy Hour

Calling all Catholic Men! Please join us for a Men’s Holy Hour on Wednesday, March 7th from 7:00-8:oo pm in Church.  Confession will be offered. 

Pre-K and Kindergarten Pre-Registration

Now Enrolling!
We are excited to announce that our preschool program is becoming a full-time pre-k for 4 year olds beginning with the 2018-2019 school year.  It will be offered Monday-Friday from 8:00-2:30 with a half day option (11:30 dismissal). Extended care (until 5:30) will be offered on a day to day basis.  For more information or to schedule a tour, contact the school office at 217-359-4114.

Stations of the Cross will be prayed Fridays during Lent (except Good Friday) at 5:30 pm in Church.

Christmas Mass and Holiday Schedule

The Christmas Masses will be on Christmas Eve at 4:00, 6:00 and 10:00 pm and on Christmas Day at 8:00 am and 10:00 am.   The regular Sunday morning masses on December 24 are for the Fourth Sunday of Advent.  Catholics are obliged to attend mass for the 4th Sunday of Advent either in the evening of Dec. 23 or morning of Dec. 24.   The Christmas Masses do not count for both. 

There will be NO MASS on Tuesday, December 26.  The parish office will be closed Dec. 25-26.  Monday, January 1, is the Solemnity of Mary, Mother of God and is not a holy day of obligation this year because it falls on a Monday.  Mass on January 1 will be at 9:00 am only.

Thanksgiving Schedule

Mass on Thanksgiving Day will be held at 9:00 am only.  Please note that there will be NO MASS on Friday, November 24.   The parish office will be closed beginning at noon on Wednesday, November 22 and will re-open on Monday, November 27.  Have a blessed and happy Thanksgiving!

All Saint’s Day – holy day of obligation

Wednesday, November 1st, is the Solemnity of All Saints and a holy day of obligation.  Mass times are: 
     Tuesday, October 31 — vigil mass at 5:30 pm 
     Wednesday, November 1 — 7:00 am, 5:30 pm, 7:00 pm
     Wednesday, November 1 (at St. Boniface) — 4:00 pm
The parish office will be closed.  Have a blessed Holy Day!

Mass Cancellation – October 24 & 25

There will be no evening Mass on Tuesday, October 24 and no morning or evening mass on Wednesday, October 25 while the priests are attending assembly days.  Masses will resume as scheduled on Thursday. 

Adoration Updates and Daily Mass Moved

The Adoration Chapel will be closed for refurbishing of pews, kneelers and carpet Monday-Tuesday July 17-18.  It will re-open at 9:00 am on Wednesday, July 19.  While the pews continue to be repaired, chairs will be available in the chapel.  Pews will return to the chapel around July 26. 

The annual floor maintenance is also taking place in church July 18-20. Daily Mass at 7:00 am and 5:30 pm will be moved to the St. Mark Room during this time.  Regularly scheduled confessions will be held in the St. Luke Room.  Thanks for your patience and understanding!

It’s Garage Sale Time!

The annual parish garage sale is almost here!  
Sale Dates:
Thursday, June 8: 5:00-8:00 pm Preview Sale, $2 admission
Friday, June 9: 8:00 am – 2:00 pm
Saturday, June 10: 8:00 am – noon ; $3 bag sale

Good, clean, sell-able items are needed for donations and can be dropped off on the following dates: June 2, 3, 5 and 6 from 9:00 am-4:00 pm each day and June 7 from 8:00 am until noon. Items that cannot be accepted include: tires, large appliances, mattresses, magazines, encyclopedias, treadmills, bow flex equipment, computer equipment, sewing machines, cribs or car seats, and TVs.

More volunteers are always welcome during drop-off and sale times! Contact the parish office if interested in volunteering.
