About Parents’ Club

All parents at St. Matthew School are members of the Parents’ Club. The mission of Parents’ Club is to enhance the school environment by supporting the educational, spiritual, and social experiences of students, staff, and families of St. Matthew; encouraging communication, volunteerism, fundraising, and fellowship.

Who We Are

Over 40 parents at St. Matthew School serve as officers and committee chairs for Parents’ Club. A big thank you to these Parents’ Club board members and to all parents who volunteer their time and talents to St. Matthew School! 

What We Do

Parents’ Club supports the school through communications (email listserve) and fundraising. Did you know that in just the past few years, Parents’ Club has funded over $125,000 of items for the school, faculty, and new facilities? St. Matthew families can help by purchasing gift certificates through Scrip, signing up for store rebate programs, and clipping Box Tops. 9 easy ways you can raise money for your school

Meetings

Parents’ Club meets during the school year, once a month, on Tuesday afternoon at 4pm in the St Mark room in the Parish Center. Join us and find out how you can get involved in our mission. Childcare will be offered in the church nursery. The meetings dates for 2016-17 are: September 6th, October 4th, November 1st, December 6th, January 10th, February 7th, March 7th, April 4th, and May 2nd. To add an item to our meeting agenda please contact the president, Angie Kerr at parentclub@stmatt.net, in advance of the meeting .

The Parents’ Club invites you to attend Mass with other St Matthew School families. Mass will be held in Feeney Hall one Thursday each month at 7am. The dates are: September 15th, October 20th, November 17th, December 15th, January 19th, February 16th, March 16th, April 20th, and May 18th.
