Fee Day Guide

PE Uniforms

PE Uniforms (Order Form here) are required for 6-8th grade students. PE Uniforms that were pre-ordered during the Spring will be handed out during class at the beginning of the school year. If you are a new family or missed the pre-order opportunity, you will be able to order at Fee Day.

Hot Lunches

Please review the Hot Lunch options and print a Hot Lunch and TCBY order form for EACH child. Please have the forms completed when you come to Fee Day. The only information you will need at Fee Day is your child's room number. Please print legibly.

Scrip

Scrip is a fundraising program for your school. It's the easiest fundraiser you'll ever do. All you do is buy gift cards, either for a gift or to use for everyday purchases. It's as simple as that! Go to www.shopwithscrip.com to find a list of retailers. There are restaurants, gas stations, grocery stores, airlines, hotels, there really aren't many that you can't find. This year we will be limiting the orders to bulk orders only in: September 1st, November 18th, December 16th, and, January 13th. We will have several gift cards for sale at Fee Day as well.

Volunteers

Volunteers are one of the things that make St. Matthew such a great school environment. Volunteering is a great way to feel connected with what is going on at the school and to meet other school families. New this year - we will be moving many of our signups to signupgenius.com. This includes signups for Lunch Duty, Classroom Volunteers, Class Parties and Winter Carnival Classroom Baskets. A separate email will be sent after Classroom Lists go out with the links to signup for these events! Amanda Hill (amandafields10@hotmail.com) is the coordinator of Lunch Duty and Angela Devaney (a.devaney@comcast.net) is the coordinator of Classroom Volunteers if you have any questions.

Fee Information

For a complete list of fees, you can preview a sample of the 2016-17 Fee Day Registration Form. Please note that you will be receiving a two part duplicate form at check-in on Fee Day. The purpose of Fee Day is to pay as many fees upfront rather than paying miscellaneous fees throughout the school year.

Welcome Coffee:

The Hospitality Committee would like to extend an invitation to all parents to a welcome coffee the first day of school. Please stop by the Multi-Purpose (MP) Room from 8-9:30am on Friday, August 19th to meet new parents and say hello to old friends.

Lunch/Playground Duty Sign-up:

Each family is asked to volunteer for lunch/playground duty two times during the school year. This is a great time for you to meet other students and parents. Younger siblings are welcome too. Sign up for those will be via signupgenius.com. An email will be sent out shortly after Fee Day for this signup.

Winter Carnival:

One parent from each family with a student in grades K-6th are asked to work a one hour shift at the Winter Carnival. It is our largest fundraiser of the year. An email will go out for signups for this closer to the January event.

Safe Environment and Safe Driving Training:

All volunteers are required to complete the Safe Environment Training including fingerprinting prior to volunteering anywhere in the school. Safe Environment Training is offered once a year. This year it's tentatively scheduled for August 30th at 5:30pm.
Also new this year is the Safe Driving Training. Anyone who volunteers to drive for a school event, field trip or athletic event must have completed this training prior to driving. See info below on how to complete the training on your own. The school is notified when training is completed so there is no need to print anything or notify them.
