Adult Faith Formation

Faith is a gift destined to grow in the hearts of believers. Adhering to Jesus Christ, in fact, sets in motion a process of continuing conversion, which lasts for the whole of life.

—General Directory for Catechesis, 56

Learning and growing in our Catholic faith is something that begins in childhood, but it does not end there. It is a lifelong journey that requires prayer and study for us to grow ever closer to Jesus.

In order to assist the adults at St. Matthew in this endeavor, we offer a variety of Adult Faith Formation opportunities. Whether you want to delve deeper into study of the Bible through our Bible Studies, or have fellowship with other men and women through our Men's and Women's groups, there is something for everyone. And if there is any topic you would like to see explored in the future, contact Joe Taylor with your suggestions!

Here are our current studies:

That Man Is You! — Men’s Group

All St. Matthew Men are invited to participate in “That Man is You.” No matter where we are in our faith life, there is always room to grow. This program meets men where we are at individually—works in progress. Come join other men as we look to buff out some flaws and become the man God is calling us to be for ourselves and our families. Food and fellowship included.
